Ashley Casey LLMSW, CAADC-DP
Ashley began her journey as a University of Michigan undergraduate who completed her degree in Foot and Ankle Medicine and Surgery at Kent State University. During the second year of her residency at the Henry Ford Hospital System, Ashley experienced an accident that landed her in the ICU for several weeks, almost losing her life. In the aftermath of the incident, Ashley went through her own therapy to gain an understanding of the experience and, in the process, found a passion for the field of psychology. She was genuinely touched by the universal problem of individuals suffering from alcohol and substance use failing to receive adequate treatment due to the overwhelmed national mental health system. She found a passion for understanding the complex and unique combination of underlying issues that surround alcohol and substance use, as well as the mind-body-lifestyle changes that support long-lasting sobriety. Ashley has her Master’s in Clinical Psychology with the goal of becoming a Licensed Psychologist here in the state of Michigan, where she can use her unique background to provide compassionate and understanding care for every client she encounters.
