Treatment at Liberty House Outpatient begins with a comprehensive assessment of each client’s substance use history, mental and emotional health, living situation, and recovery goals. From that foundation, a treatment plan is developed that reflects the individual’s actual clinical needs rather than a standard protocol.
Within PHP, clients can expect:
Individual therapy focused on understanding the personal factors contributing to substance use, developing coping strategies, and working toward specific recovery goals.
Group therapy that provides both therapeutic structure and peer support. Group sessions address topics such as triggers, stress management, emotional regulation, relapse prevention, and communication skills.
Psychoeducation that helps clients understand addiction as a behavioral health condition, recognize patterns in their own behavior, and build practical knowledge for sustaining recovery.
Co-occurring mental health support when clinically appropriate. Substance use and mental health concerns can sometimes occur together and influence one another. When relevant, treatment can address both.
Collaborative care planning involving the client throughout the process. Recovery goals and treatment approaches are revisited regularly to ensure the plan continues to reflect where the client is and where they are working to go.
